Just imagine, everything is just a gentle stroll from the apartments. Even within our building are the Bucci Italian and Jade Chinese Restaurants, both two very fine restaurants that we highly recommend. Coffee afficionados will appreciate the Sparrow Coffee Shop which is also within the building. The barristas are dedicated coffee professionals serving world class coffee in whatever style you like. Just the kind of start to the mornings you’ll want to have before you head out to the Great Barrier Reef or Daintree National Park for the day.

Far from popular opinion, not all your dining has to happen at a restaurant. A picnic on the point at Rex Smeal Park is the perfect place to watch the boats come and go. The channel into the Marina berths is the only through fare for all the charters coming and going every day. With the lovely grassy picnic area next to the Port Douglas leeds, you can watch the boats sail by. Trainspotting was never like this, although it’s more of a late afternoon activity. Fish and chips is also another great accompaniment to an evening of incoming boats.
